This morning we will leave the Panama City Hotel to enjoy an Panama City Tour through one of Panama’s most unique tourism sectors. The tour will start at Panama la Vieja founded in 1519, the first city and Spanish settlement on the Pacific Ocean. This was the capital of "Catilla de oro" and center of operations for the conquest of South America. Next the group will explore the Casco Viejo a colonial area that represent the second Panama City, characterized by its spectacular architecture. A joyful Guided Walking Tour, which will include the Paseo de las Bovedas; the Plaza de Independencia; the Catedral; the Palacio Municipal; The San Juan Church, with its stuning golden Altar; the Arco Chato; the Convenio de Santo Domingo, home of the religious artifact museum; the Plaza de Francia, and Plaza Bolivar, home to the National Theater, San Francisco de Asis Church and some newly renovated colonial homes.We will have flexibility to stop at a restaurant of your choice in order to grab lunch in the wonderful area of Casco Viejo.

ITINERARY
The Panama Embera tibre is one of the 7 ethnic groups in the Republic of Panama. Today we will enjoy an amazing cultural experience, as we travel deep into the Chagres National Park, where we will meet the Embera Indian Community. We will be transported back in time on a Canoe Ride to their community, where we will enjoy a very cordial welcome. Next we will be able to enjoy a Cultural Tour with a presentation of the Embera traditional dance, food, artifacts and body paintings. Our visit will also include a traditional Embera Lunch (Fruits, Fried Fish and Fried Plantains). This afternoon we will enjoy a Trail Walk along one of the most spectacular ecological trails in Panama, filled with spectacular fauna of the tropical rain forest. We return to our hotel for the evening.

ITINERARY

The Panama Canal day tour begins with a private coach meeting you at your location (Hotel or Rental). We will head out to the top of Cerro Ancon "Anco Hill" where we will explain a bit about Panama City and its surroundings overlooking the spectacular views. From this hill, we will be able to see the Panama Canal Locks and City. Our experience have lead to security within the compromise to show the Panama Canal wile is operating. This is why we have the Panama Canal transit schedule and secure about seeing a ship transiting the Panama Canal on our visit. We will visit the impressive Miraflores Locks, where we can observe transiting ships, and tour the Panama Canal. The Visitor Center features a collection of historical and scientific displays that include a miniature mock-up of the Panama Canal. Finally we will follow by positioning our selves on the observation deck and will actually see the Panama Canal in full action, line handlers, mules, ships and everyone else who makes this possible operating to its fullest. You will also have the opportunity to purchase handicrafts and souvenirs from the Panama Canal Shop!
